Yesterday was a very uncomfortable day.  Not just because of the heat – but because of the possibility of a nearby bushfire, just under 2km away from where I live.  Using the hose to spray the roof and grass around the house became a nervous addiction  as this surreal unpredictable occurrence took place.  Engulfing the sky and the sun possessed by a dark red hue.  The bushfire that was near where I live is now seemingly under control, however,  it’s the bushfires that have recently picked up their pace near many of my friends and relatives that I now worry about.

With the risk of sounding just like all of those across the social networks who have been spreading many words of hope.

I wish you safety.
