Merry Christmas!

I’d just like to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, Stick around for New Years, I hope to post again.
Hope everyone is having a splendour of a time, hope you all gathered with friends and families and exchanged gifts and cheer, although there is a few unexpected Christmas presents that we all received, and I’m not talking about the packet of A4 Cartridge paper that I received . . . no that WAS unexpected.
I’m talking about some very upsetting tragedies that recently occurred, of which are deeply upsetting.
The worst possible thing that could happen in this world, is to lose someone close to you, which is exactly what I and many hundreds of students unwrapped slowly, it’s still hard to believe that he’s gone, his passing is just more than I can contemplate. Best wishes to Nathan’s family and friends, it’s not easy, I’m sorry I’m lost for words.
Also, let’s take a moment to think about all those people on the west side of Australia, their homes filled with water from the floods. It’s been on the news a lot recently, but imagine for just a minute, how it would feel if you were in that situation, especially around Christmas. All the best for those people, and I hope that it’s all cleared up for 2011. The new year is a chance to start fresh, even if you weren’t involved in the floods.
Now I have a Christmas present for you, whether you consider it a present or not, I wouldn’t have a clue, it may as well be one of those things that you don’t want so you wrap up and give to other people . . .
Anyways!
This is my Christmas Album, “Ben’s Christmas Cheer”
It’s a free download.
All the songs are not to be sold commercially, they are purely for entertainment value ONLY!
I’ll see you later I spose.
Bye.

The Creation Of The Universe

The other day, during assembly, when the principal was saying farewell to the Grade 10’s and everyone was crying, for some silly reason (I mean seriously, they get to get out of school! Why are they crying?) I had a sudden cold feeling . . . I don’t know what you’d call it actually.

//My talk about the creation of the universe is after all this talk here, if you want to read that instead scroll down until you see the space picture//

It’s a horrible feeling, but many people feel it everyday, all the time, I only felt it for a few seconds. It’s a feeling that life is pointless, its all grey, and that it’s all just going to drain away, what are we living for? It got me thinking, but that feeling was so terrible, and what started it up?

The principal said these words: “… and I hope that we have taught you to be respectful, honest, trustworthy people that can go out their and join in to work in the community…”

That’s what started it, and why? How?

Don’t you just feel isolated, lead, or that you have no decision? Yes we are free compared to some countries, but that whole thing where they raise us up so that we can work, once we work, we retire, and then we spend the last years of our life wondering where it all went and how fast it flew. This just goes on and on, it’s what the human race consists of, work, once our youth is used up preparing us for work, we then work for the remainder of our lives and get the last few years to ourselves.

It sounds like cattle, except cattle don’t have to work a single day in their life. It’s almost as if humans are naturally missing the action and the work they once had to do in the wild, but now with all this technology doing it for us we need to give ourselves something to do.

I watched a film earlier today, “David Attenborough, How many people can live on planet earth?” which was an interesting film on resources and human population. Because we have managed to extend our life something like 50 years more than we normally would live to, our population is growing, and we are struggling to make supplies. While watching this I also noted that humans still get food for their families in a similar manner to the way they once would have, but instead of dad hunting to get the food, he’s going to the office, to earn money to buy the food. We use to have chickens and veggie gardens to grow our own food!
I wonder what kind of a world this would be, if every human fended for themselves in the food department, if everyone grew their own food instead of putting all this pressure on farmers to produce a large amount crop. I personally also think that we need to look into making plants that don’t need so much water to grow, or maybe even changing the things we eat.

So that was a cold sort of a moment for me, once I thought about it I came to this conclusion, who cares why we are here, even if we aren’t here for a reason, we just have to be amazed at who we are, think about how amazing it is that we are able to think and talk (some of us anyway), we have to not be scared of life ending, just take advantage of it as much as we can, nothing you do is a waste of time, or money, if you enjoy it, because there is no value or amount of money worth that of emotion.

But now for the highlight of this post, that is the Creation of The Universe. Because we wouldn’t be here if the Universe didn’t exist.

When it comes to theories on how the universe was created, you have to main choices, the first is that some giant invisible man, who obviously knows a lot about using his craft supplies, crafted the universe, along with the earth in about 7 days, (But if you say this to a Bible follower they’ll tell you that the 7 days spoke about could be 7 years, typical, making excuses, if it wasn’t right it wouldn’t be in the bible), then the other theory is that there was nothing, that suddenly exploded into substance which created planets over time of smashing into each other.

So you either have the choice of a fairy tale, or complete and utter bullshit.

I have my own theory, my own opinion, it’s not based on facts, but it is believable.
My theory is that, the universe never was created, it’s always been there. But wait, there’s more! Now have you noticed that everything in this world goes in a circular motion, you look at an atom, and it is the splitting image of a planet, except smaller, but it think of the electrons flying around the outside of the nucleus, its almost like Earth and the Moon, or Jupiter and its dozens of moons, its the same but on a larger scale, almost as if the Earth or Jupiter are atoms of something bigger. What if the atom actually has a lot more to do with life than we first thought, these atoms may actually be running the universe. Anyway.
Everything goes round in this same circular motion, gravity is pulling inwards to the centre of the Earth in a circular motion, magnetic force is in circular waves, radar signals, rainbows and light (You never see a straight rainbow), the sun and all the planets moving around it as if they are it’s moons. Who knows maybe the atom has even smaller things moving around the electrons!
Everything is in a circular/spherical motion or form, the building block of elements, (Yes I’m going to mention it AGAIN) the ATOM is spherical and has circular movements.
I think that the universe is just one big solar system, we may be rotating around the sun, but the sun is rotating around something much larger, in the centre of our galaxy there is said to be a black hole, anyway, that galaxy is in orbit with something bigger again, all the galaxies are, all floating around something bigger, and I would go as far as to say that everything is orbiting around a black hole in the centre of the universe.
Slowly and slowly everything is being pulled closer and closer into this black hole, by the time we get there our planet will be long gone, we would have been consumed by our own sun by that time, all the galaxies would be crashing into each other as they compact and pound ready to pile into the black hole as if it were a group of school kids all trying to get out the door all at once. All the pressure and the force, all the different gases and planets and stars would react . . . and the explosion would happen.

The amount of power in the explosion would be tremendous. Enough to blast everything into pieces, melt rock into molten, fire bits of rock at each other at high speeds, spreading all this debris out into the universe canvas, ready to start forming again.

It’s a cycle that could take septillions of years, before the universe rejuvenates itself. It resets everything to default.

What do you think about my theory? Does it sound plausible?

Comment on this and tell me your opinion! Do you have a theory of your own?

Until next time readers,

Ben,

Christmas Presents!

Hey!

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me, nothing ‘cos I don’t have, well, a true love . . .

Hey guys I’m back to talk about a few things today, Christmas and things that are weird that I thought of during this lovely thing called Life.
//Life isn’t a game, its a privilege.//

Christmas!
It’s on the way, from today, there’s 10 days until Christmas, or 9 days if you don’t count ‘Christmas Day’ as a ‘Day Until’, anyway, this year I decided to give my family better presents than I had brought them every other year. Mum and Dad would always receive a box of chocolates, and then pretend to be somewhat excited and amazed when they opened it up.
//”Oh wow Ben, Chocolates”//
My two brothers received the similar treatment, except maybe a few Hot wheels cars or something, anyway, this year I went BIG. Well, as big as $93.
That’s a considerable amount of money for a kid with no income, other than single $5 increments of birthday and Christmas money, I spent practically all of my money this year, because I want my presents not to be the “sit asides”, you know what I’m talking about with the “sit asides” thing right?
You know whenever it’s Christmas you’ll open up all your presents and the ones of ‘less interest’ will be placed all in one heap a few metres away, and the ones you are interested in will be stacked right next to you in a VIP (Very Important Parcel) heap. Come on, you do it too. This normally means, all the clothes and stuff in one pile, all the toys and gadgets in this pile.
ANYWAYS, man I can go astray in these posts.
I wanted my presents to be some of the ones sitting on the interested pile, I wanted my presents to be the highlight, so this year I assume that they will be.

I won’t say what I bought for each family member until AFTER Christmas, because no doubt they’ll be checking my blog in an attempt to get a ‘sneak peak’ at their present. But on average I spent about $20 on each family member. (Out of 5)

But when it does I’ll keep you posted.

The question, or thing I thought about recently is this.

Christmas, is a Christian/Catholic celebration, to celebrate the birth of Jesus, (Which actually didn’t happen on the 25th of December . . .) practically everyone celebrates Christmas, but not for the birth of Jesus, but for the giving of gifts and generosity. I’m not saying this is wrong, because I personally don’t celebrate it for Jesus being born anyway, (Again, because he wasn’t born on the 25th anyway!) I just think it’s interesting that the celebration or festival takes place worldwide, and yet most the people that celebrate it aren’t religious.

What do you think though people? Comment and tell me these things.
– What do you celebrate Christmas for?
– Do you purchase gifts for the family?
– If yes, do those gifts become the main structure of the uninterested pile?

This is all for this post, I was going to write something else, but I think it deserves a post of it’s own, (Because I thinks it’s AMAZING) I will be writing that post in due time. Until then . . .

See Ya!

Ben

"Where u been?"

Hello everyone!

I’d just like to say hello, even if I already explained that in the first line . . . but now I want to talk about why I’ve been basically invisible for the past few weeks, and why I’ve posted nothing, said nothing, been almost non-existent. To put it simply, I’ve had technical problems, overload realisations, lost thought, and taken time to work on other things, I’m going to talk about all of this right now.

First is the technical problems, which I will be writing another WAW, (War On Windows) sometime in the next week or so, because Windows stuffed up again, leaving me out of action for a full 2 weeks, meaning no YouTube videos, no Facebook, Twitter, I wasn’t able to work on any projects or productions.

Second is my overload realisations, this means basically, that I’ve set myself up with all this stuff to do, all these different people to try and please, but I am unable to do it all.
I have 18 Blogs to manage, 14 are the main ones being used, the others are a test blog, and other blogs owned by other people, of which I was invited to ‘contribute’. One of the blogs, ‘Ben’s iPod Tricks’ is receiving heaps of visitors everyday, because it is linked to my YouTube account, I am meant to be bringing out a whole heap of new tricks for the iPod, iPhone and iPad, but I had both technical troubles and a lot of other things to do. On YouTube I try to upload a video every so often to keep subscribers happy, that takes up time, and then I have other home productions for family, personal or school, this means school projects, and homework, family videos which I am making a huge 1 hour video, and personal includes songs and things that I want to make for friends and use as Christmas entertainment for my Facebook friends.
Along with that I spend hours on developing Squad 506 which is my top-down shooter game, which I have been working on full and part time since January 2010, and I also spend time developing my programs, Looper! and a few others that I haven’t released for you guys to download yet.
You may at this point be thinking . . . “Why the frig do you make yourself do all this s&@%?!”
Well, probably to keep me occupied, and my sub-conscious way of blocking out my emotions by grinding them up with impossible forever-lasting tasks.

Third is lost thought, which is tied into the overload problem, because there’s so much stuff to do, I blank out and really sit there in a meditation state, not knowing what to do.

Four, taking time to work on other things, like doing a mass clean up of my room, and things like homework and school projects which was kinda mentioned in the second reason too . . . . this whole post is basically based around the second reason, why did I not just forget about the numbered reasons and just mix them all up into my own argumentative excuse idioglossia?

Anyways

Catch you soon . . . Why do I keep saying that, I’m not going to literally catch you . . . oh nevermind . . .

BY THE WAY
“Idioglossia refers to an idiosyncratic language, one invented and spoken by only one or very few people. Most often, idioglossia refers to the “private languages” of young children, especially twins, the latter which is more specifically known as cryptophasia, and commonly referred to as twin talk or twin speech.”

Apologize – OneRepublic

Song – Apologize

By – OneRepublic

Lyrics –
I’m holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
I’m hearin what you say but I just can’t make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you’re sorry
Didn’t think I’d turn around, and say…

It’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
I said it’s too late to apologize, it’s too late

I’d take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But it’s nothin new
I loved you with a fire red-
Now it’s turning blue, and you say…
“Sorry” like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I’m afraid…

It’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
I said it’s too late to apologize, it’s too late

Bridge (guitar/piano)

It’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
I said it’s too late to apologize, it’s too late
It’s too late to apologize, yeah
I said it’s too late to apologize, yeah-
I’m holdin on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground…

Review – I think that this song has a groovy beat to it, and the violin at the start is amazing, it definitely gives this piece individuality, the moment you hear that violin you can determine the song.
Apart from that, the song has a great meaning, and as for the band, they rock. I’d highly recommend people to go check out their other songs.

Rating – 3.5/5

RSI, Pain, Strain . . . and Teachers

It’s driving me nuts.

What is it that could drive me nuts? Apart from squirrels, who know how to drive all sorts of nuts . . . but I’m talking in the annoying idiosyncratic way.

There are some annoying teachers out there, I’ve met quite a few!
From teachers that give lunchtimes to everyone within a 10 metre radius just because a misbehaving delinquent doesn’t do what he’s told, or other teachers with their stupid sexist crap and always go in favour of the “sweet innocent girls”, and then there’s the teachers that give you heaps to write in a short space of time, and any of the work you don’t complete becomes what has come to be known as “s#%&!” by students and “Homework” by teachers and parents.

Of course by now you would all have an idea of what teachers you hate.

The particular type of teacher I hate at the moment is the one of repetitive writing tasks, where the teacher will have a large PowerPoint presentation, and the teacher will flick through the slides, one by one, as we have to copy the writing from the projector screen, into our books. Along with the endless worksheets and short time allowances to complete a sheet.

What I am annoyed about though is this.

The other day, we were doing work on ‘paragraphs’ for apparently there are those in the class that could not bind thy words in a paragraph. *

That’s not the point though, the point is there was a lot to do in a short time, especially for a slow writer. I’m fast when it comes to typing, typing is better for me than writing with a pencil because of a thinking-to-writing-speed-ratio, with a pencil my wrist will be struggling to keep up with my brain, and often hurt a lot, it will also miss out the first and last letters of words in an attempt to keep up with the thought flow. Where as with multiple fingers, and a keyboard, I can relay message from thought to word at an incredible speed, it’s faster, it’s not messy, and there are no mistakes, and that’s not just because of the computers’ auto check.
Hmmm I went off track a bit there . . . anyways . . .

What annoyed me was 13 words in a sentence that the teacher used to answer  this question:

“Why are we doing paragraphs? Most of us can already do paragraphs.”

What were these 13 words that annoyed me? You, the teacher, may already be reading this very blog post right now, the 13 words that annoyed me, not individually of course, but by their group make-up.

“…Because I didn’t want to put pressure on those that can’t write paragraphs…”

Yeah, don’t put the pressure on anyone do you? Have you ever thought that maybe you are putting pressure on the people that can’t write fast enough? Perhaps? Yes? No?

Agh….

I am having to hold my wrists and hands every few seconds to try and ease the pain of the continuous “Writing-ular-syndrome”

Nah . . . I made that up . . .

Have to go, later on I’ll post and tell you guys why I haven’t posted in awhile . . . on Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, YouTube . . . the lot.

I’ll catch you later.
(As long as your not too heavy, ‘cos I’m to weak to hold anything)
